Summer is just around the corner. If you haven’t dropped those unwanted pounds, let Thai Ginger help you. We have a number of low carb meals to choose from. Here’s another local favorite.

Som Tom

Known as “papaya salad”, Som Tum is a common dish in Thailand. You don’t often see it in Seattle. At Thai Ginger, we serve it up regularly.

Som Tom is shredded green papaya, carrot, Thai chili, cherry tomatoes, and green beans with some lime sauce. It’s the definition of healthy and low carb! If you like the full Thai experience, order it extra spicy.

Side Note: Papaya fruit is an anti-inflammatory and kills bad bacteria. Papaya has also been proven to help prevent cancer.
