Prawns are considered one of the healthiest foods. They are a complete protein, as they all have nine amino acids. They are also very low in calories. A serving of prawns contains about half as many calories as a serving of chicken. Prawns have a high Omega 3 fatty acid content, which helps lower blood pressure. They include vitamins B6, B12, and B3, which help with energy production, building muscle and replacing red blood cells in the body. Prawns are also high in iron, selenium, zinc, phosphorus, copper, and magnesium.
