We can hardly believe the Alaskan Way Viaduct is closed for good. It’s been a local landmark for ages. Unfortunately, the new SR 99 tunnel isn’t slated to open for another 3 weeks. What are 90,000 Seattleites going to do in order to avoid the expected and unprecedented traffic jams?
It’s likely many commuters will choose to work from home or travel off hours. If you are one of the unlucky ones who has to drive into Seattle no matter what, we have a solution for you! Thai Ginger and Pacific Place are working together to create some options for commuters needing to pass time while traffic subsides.
